Importance of Husband in the Light of Quran and Hadith

Importance of husband in the light of Quran and Hadith

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم asked one of the Companion's wives: "Have you got a husband?" She said: "Yes." He asked: "How do you treat him?" She replied: "I spare no pains in obeying him, except what I cannot do." The Prophet then said: "Make sure that you obey him, because he is your Paradise or Hellfire" (Tirmidhi)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: "If a woman dies while her husband was pleased with her, she will enter Paradise." (Tirmidhi)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: "If a woman prays her five prayers, fasts her month (Ramadan), guards her chastity, and obeys her husband (always) she will enter Jannah." (Bukhari)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was asked: "Which of women is best?" He said: “The one who makes (her husband) happy when he looks at her, obeys him when he tells her to do something, and does not disobey him with regard to herself or her wealth in a way that he dislikes.” (Nasaai)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: "If I were to command anyone to prostrate to anything other than Allah, I would have commanded women to prostrate to their husbands. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no woman will fulfil her duty towards her Lord unless she fulfils her duty towards her husband, and if he asks her for herself when she is sitting on a saddle, she should not refuse him." (Ibn Maajah)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: "It is not right for any human being to prostrate to another; if it were right for one human being to prostrate to another, I would have commanded women to prostrate to their husbands because of the great rights that they have over them. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if a man were covered from head to foot with weeping sores oozing pus, and his wife were to come to him and lick his sores (to clean them), this would not fulfil the rights he has over her." (Ahmad)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: "If Allah has blessed any of you with a good wife, He has helped him with half his deen, so he should fear Allah with the other half." (Hakim)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: “No woman annoys her husband but his wife among Al-Hoor Al-’Ayn says, ‘Do not annoy him! May Allah destroy you (Literally ‘Kill you’)! For he is just a temporary guest with you and soon he will leave you and join (come to) us‘.” (Ahmed, Tirmidhi, ibn Majah)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: “There are three whose prayers will not be accepted and they will not ascend to heaven or even go beyond their heads: … a woman whose husband calls her at night and she refuses.” (Targhib wal-Tarhib)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: “If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses, and he stays angry with her all night, the angels will curse her until morning.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: “Any woman who asked for a divorce for no reason, the fragrance of Paradise is forbidden to her.” (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, Ibn Maajah)

"Whether the husband wants to discipline his wife, or forgive her, or take another wife, or divorce her, this is all up to him to choose. Let the woman beware of incurring her husband’s wrath because this will lead to Allaah’s being angry with her." - Sh. Muhammad Al-Munajjid

"If a Man is married with a righteous wife, he will live a harmonious life even if he is poor" - Sh. Saleh Al-Fawzan

The blessings for a woman being a righteous wife and a man having the righteous wife is pleasure in this world and the next when we meet Allah...

When Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal's wife passed away he said "Wallahi I lived with her for 40 years and we didn't argue once." He was asked how? He said "Whenever she got upset and tried to argue, I stayed quiet. And whenever I was upset and tried to argue, she stayed quiet."

"Seventy thousand angels pray for the person till evening who visit his muslim brother in the morning. And seventy thousand angles pray till morning if he visit in evening. And a garden is made for him in jannah."

Jannah And Hell Ask ALLAH

Jannah And Hell Ask ALLAH
Narrated Anasؓ that Prophet ﷺ said, Jannah ask ALLAH to enter the one in jannah, who asked three times for jannah from ALLAH. And the fire of hell ask ALLAH to protect the one who asked three time about the protection from fire, from ALLAH.

Fear Of ALLAH And Good Attitude

Fear Of ALLAH And Good Attitude
"Narrated Abu Hureraؓ that Prophet ﷺ was about the deed/s which lead people to heaven in abundance. Prophet ﷺ replied that those deeds are, Fear of ALLAH and good attitude."

The Best Among Them are Those Who are Best to Their Wives

The Prophet (SallALLAHU Alahi Wasallam) said "The most perfect of the believers in faith are the best of them in morals. And the best among them are those who are best to their wives."

[Ahmad 7354, and Tirmidhi 1162].

The Prophet’s beloved wife, Aaisha, said of her noble husband:

He always helped with the housework and would at times mend his clothes, repair his shoes and sweep the floor. He would milk, protect and feed his animals and do household chores' AllahuAkbar!!

A great relationship happens when two people truly understand each other and love each other for who they really are. What better example to follow than the example of our beloved Prophet (sallalla hu alahi wasallam)..

Man's Feet Will Not Move on The Day of Resurrection

Man's Feet Will Not Move on The Day of Resurrection (Click on image to enlarge)

Hazrat Abu Barzah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Man's feet will not move on the Day of Resurrection before he is asked about his life, how did he consume it, his knowledge, what did he do with it, his wealth, how did he earn it and how did he dispose of it, and about his body, how did he wear it out.''

[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2417].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Taha Ayat 110."(Allah) knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world," 1. This Hadith first of all highlights the importance and value of this transitory life, every breath of which is invaluable. Not a moment of it should, therefore, be wasted in the disobedience of Allah because one shall also be made to account for it.

2. Man shall also be answerable for his knowledge. Here, we find an inducement for acquiring religious knowledge because that alone is beneficial for him. He should make use of his knowledge for winning the pleasure of Allah. If he does not do that then he must think about the justification for not doing so. He must also think how he would be facing Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

3. The question in respect of wealth raised in this Hadith clearly shows that one should earn wealth by legitimate means only and spend it strictly in a lawful manner. If he takes to unfair means of income or squanders it, he will be sinful and required to account for the violation of the Divine injunctions.

4. One should protect his body from everything that is unlawful and force himself to submit to the Divine injunctions. When he is asked to account for neglecting them, it will be difficult for him to escape the consequences of accountability.

In short, this Hadith makes one conscious of the accountability so that one keeps it all the time in view so that he will be saved from humiliation on the Day of Resurrection. How nice would it really be if one bears the accountability of the Day of Resurrection always in mind!

Whoever Recites a Letter from the Book of Allah (Quran)

Whoever Recites a Letter from the Book of Allah (Quran) - Click on image to enlarge

Hazrat Ibn Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.''

[At-Tirmidhi, Hadith # 2910]

Lesson : As mentioned above in Surah Maryam Ayat 97."We have made this (the Qur'an) easy". This Hadith urges us to recite the Qur'an and also mentions the great reward for reciting it.

The Greatest Reward Comes With The Greatest Trial

Trials and calamities are a test.

According to hadith:

"The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial, when ALLAH loves people he tests them. Whoever accepts the trials, WINS ALLAH's pleasure, but whoever discontent with that, earns ALLAH's wrath!"

Narrated by Al Tirmidhi-2396, Ibn Maajah-4031!

All Religious Sects in Hell, Except One

It has been narrated by Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anh that the Prophet PBUH said:

"The Jews and Christians were divided into seventy-one or seventy-two religious sects, and this nation will be divided into seventy-three religious sects -- all in Hell, except one, and that one is the one on which I and my Companions are today [i.e. following the Qur'an and the Prophet's Sunnah (legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements of the Prophet PBUH)]."

There is no day more virtuous than Friday

Rasulullah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: "The word "shaahid" refers to Friday . There is no day more virtuous than Friday. There is such an hour in this day that no Muslim will make dua in it except that his dua will be accepted. And he does not seek protection from anything except that Allah Ta'ala will grant him protection . "

(Tirmidhi)

The word "shaahid" appears in Surah Burooj . Allah Ta'ala has taken an oath of that day.

ALLAH says in the Quran:

"By the sky in which there are constellations .By the promised day (of judgement). By the day that witnesses (Friday), and the day that is witnessed (day of Arafah). "
